Located in northeast Ohio, Ravenna is the Portage County seat.  Ravenna is centrally located in an area surrounded by major transportation routes.  Located minutes to the north is Interstate 80 and minutes to the south is Interstate 76.  Ravenna is also in very close proximity to the major cities of Cleveland (45 minutes to the north), Akron (20 minutes to the west) and Youngstown (45 minutes to the east).

Ravenna prides itself on its history and rich heritage.  Founded in 1799 and developed throughout the 1800's, much of Ravenna's original downtown architecture exists today.  In 1999 Ravenna invested $3 million in renovating and restoring it's downtown area.  Today, the community boasts a unique mix of old and new, with numerous industrial facilities thriving within the community.
